The assault resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
